Bariloche

Some more notes on Bariloche: Bariloche is a very touristy town. All of Argentina and the world seems to come here in January. So the place is packed! It is built like a Swiss town - focus on Chocolate, Berner Senn Dogs with rum bottles, and many tourist attractions. Not really a nice place to hang out. The landscape here is amazing though and that's why it is worthwhile to spend time here and head out to one of the many lakes or into the mountains!

Bariloche also has a great steak house - El Boliche de Alberto which is the perfect place to go after a few days of trekking. By the way, the pictures of the Refugio Frey Trek are online now! So have a look!

Noch ein paar Gedanken zu Bariloche: Bariloche ist ein reines Touristennest. Ganz Argentinien und der Rest der Welt scheint hierher zu kommen, um Urlaub zu machen. Jedenfalls platzt der Ort aus allen Naehten. Die Stadt ist wie ein Schweizer Bergdorf aufgebaut: Holzhuetten, Schokilaedeli und Berner Sennhuende mit Rumflaschen. Uns gefaellt der Ort nicht wirklich, weil es zu sehr auf Tourismus ausgelegt ist. Die Landschaft hier ist aber traumhaft schoen und alleine deswegen lohnt es sich hierher zu kommen. Allerdings sollte man dann aber einen der vielen Seen oder die Berge zum Trekken aufsuchen!

Bariloche hat uebrigens auch eine tolle Parilla - ein Steak Haus: El Boliche de Alberto. Das ist genau das richtige nach ein paar Tagen Trekking. Uebrigens sind die Bilder vom Refugio Frey Trek jetzt auch online - also einfach mal runterscrollen!
